Blooming Buds School, a renowned educational institution in Moga city, shared information related to World Malaria Day during the morning assembly under the able leadership of Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini. The students made various types of charts, slogans etc. related to this day. Sharing information, they said that World Malaria Day was celebrated for the first time on 25th April 2008. The aim of celebrating it is to focus people’s attention on the terrible disease like malaria. Due to which millions of people die every year. On this issue, the World Organization says that many lives can be saved by running a malaria control program. They also mentioned many ways to avoid this epidemic. On this occasion, School Principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani said that the health of the students coming to the school is our responsibility, that is why anti mosquito fog spraying is done in the school from time to time so that this malaria mosquito can be eliminated. She specifically mentioned that the institute has a special arrangement of three to four fog machines. During this, the students were motivated to take precautions to prevent this and take care of their health according to the weather and keep their surroundings clean. Students were made aware that they should constantly change the water in the coolers in their homes. They should not let water accumulate at any place. They should always use mosquito nets before going to bed at night in places where mosquitoes are more common. She said that we all should be aware of this terrible disease so that it can be eradicated and we should contribute fully along with the government. Just as the wheat harvesting season is going on now and mosquitoes are increasing in number. Fog spray is done from time to time in schools to protect students from this malaria disease.
