Blooming Buds School Organized ‘Personality Development, Financial Literacy and Career Guidance’ Seminar
Blooming Buds School, Moga, a renowned educational institution of the area, organized an inspiring seminar on the topics of personality development, financial literacy, and career guidance was organized for Class 12 students for all-round development of students, under the able leadership of Group Chairman Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Saini and Chairperson Madam Kamal Saini. Mr. Sanjeev Sahni, Vice President of Chitkara University, along with his colleague Mr. Sunil Kumar, attended the seminar as special guests and shared their experiences by interacting directly with the students.
At the start of the seminar, the school’s CEO, Rahul Chhabra, welcomed the guests and invited them to the stage. During the seminar, Mr. Sanjeev Sahni inspired the students to dream big in life, to work hard with firm determination to fulfill those dreams, and to face every challenge boldly. He said that success does not come through any shortcut, but is achieved only through consistent hard work, discipline, valuing time, and positive thinking. He also made students aware of the importance of refining their personality, boosting self-confidence, and developing effective communication skills.
Speaking on financial literacy, Mr. Sahni gave students golden tips on planning their money wisely from a young age, saving, spending sensibly, and becoming financially strong for the future. He said that in today’s times, having financial knowledge is just as important as academic education, as it enables students to make the right decisions in the future. Noting that earning money requires developing some skill or the other, he appealed to students to develop a skill within themselves and, on the strength of that skill, think about solving some problem in society, so that they could get an idea for starting a new startup — since every new business entering the market is essentially bringing a solution to some problem. For instance, he noted, ordering goods from anywhere or booking a taxi has become very easy today; someone thought of this too, and that is why these have today turned into big businesses.
In addition, he gave detailed information about the higher education options and various employment opportunities available in the Arts, Commerce, and Science streams after Class 12. While answering students’ questions, he also guided them in choosing the right career according to their interests and abilities. Students participated in this interactive session with great enthusiasm and gained several important pieces of information regarding their future.
On this occasion, School Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini and Principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani thanked both guests, saying that Blooming Buds School continues to organize such inspiring seminars, workshops, and career guidance programs from time to time for the all-round development of students, so that they can be fully prepared for future challenges. At the end of the event, Chairperson Mrs. Kamal Saini and Principal Dr. Hamiliya Rani honoured Mr. Sanjeev Sahni and Mr. Sunil Kumar by presenting them with mementos. Students described the session as extremely beneficial and inspiring, and expressed their wish for such programs to be organized in the future as well.
