Blooming Buds School students took a stand against drugs in ‘Yudh Nashian Virudh’ rally

Students spread awareness through slogans and charts in rally organized by District Administration, Moga

Students of Blooming Buds School, Moga, a renowned educational institution of Moga city, made an encouraging contribution to the anti-drug awareness campaign “Yudh Nashian Virudh” organized by the District Administration, Moga. The rally aimed to educate people about the ill effects of drugs and promote a healthy, drug-free society. The rally started from Joginder Singh Chowk near Moga Bus Stand, passed through Main Bazaar, Partap Road, Railway Road and ended at Nature Park. Armed with vibrant charts and catchy slogans, the students used their creativity to deliver strong messages encouraging the community to stay away from drugs. Throughout the program, the enthusiasm and discipline shown by the students of Blooming Buds School was commendable. The teachers and staff, along with the students, ensured smooth participation and maximum impact of the message. At the end of the rally, the district administration arranged refreshments for all the participating students and staff members at the Nature Park. The highlight of the event was the presence of Hon’ble Deputy Commissioner Shri Sagar Setia (IAS) who interacted with the students, appreciated their efforts and took feedback on the day’s experience. He also appealed to the students to act as vigilant citizens and inform the police if they see any drug-related activities around them. The Principal of Blooming Buds School expressed pride in the students’ participation, saying, “We are committed to raising socially responsible individuals. Participation in such an initiative empowers our students to become change makers in the society.” This rally will act as a strong step towards creating awareness against drug use in the society and strengthening the collective fight.
